Or just "ART of 3D" for short
While no one could possibly accuse this of being my most original creation, it is
however the most complete and detailed by far. No, not every bolt, screw and/or washer
is represented, but by way of comparison to my other cars, which are mostly shells with
some rudimentary interior details, this one has a nearly complete chassis, suspension
and drive train. It is also the design that finally elevated me to the level of
professional designer. I was contracted to create it by my new friends at
Advanced Racing Technologies, Inc.
who manufacture racecar alignment systems. This car is to be the virtual demonstrator
for a presentation to pitch ART's product to the stockcar racing types.
Of interest is the fact that it only took me at the very most about a month to crank
this bad boy out, with nothing to work from except the tires & wheels. Not a bad piece of
reverse-engineering, if I do say so myself. The last image in this set is for the 2006
ART catalog. The F-1 racer in this image is an imported model, not my design.
But the rest is all me. Click on the nav bar below to go to the gallery.
