The first serious attempt
After a year or two of teaching myself how to create cohesive 3D entities,
applying materials, backgrounds and the like (all the while still working my
regular 9 to 5), I felt I was ready to try my hand at something interesting.
The idea of an action adventure/simulator game came to me, the centerpiece of
which would be this fighter/bomber aircraft that could lie in wait to pounce
on unsuspecting targets of opportunity, thereby repulsing the evil hordes that
would see all that western civilization stands for brought to utter ruin. Topical
stuff, huh? Hence the name "Ambusher". It's designed to be a robust yet agile
craft with LOTS of firepower and the ability to soak up damage using some unique
(and secret!) technology. The rumors of said technology having grievous
side-affects on the personnel utilizing it have yet to be substantiated. Hmm.
